Small Boat Emergencies and Rescue

Description: Review of recent, local covered marina fire incidents, fire/safety and rescue from large commercial craft, fire-rescue boat specifications and bidding, biodegradable foams and AFFF for shore-based firefighting, Maryland Department of the Environment and the United States Coast Guard environmental response and mitigation responsibilities. Live and static displays of fire boats and dive teams.

Audience: Firefighters and fire department officers with water rescue and marina responsibilities.
