The Art of Reading Smoke

This seminar is presented by Deputy Chief Phil Jose of Seattle Washington in conjunction with the Maryland State Firefighters Association. "Through dynamic teaching and the use of fire-ground video, attendees learn the skill of reading smoke. Learn about the attributes of smoke including Volume, Velocity, Density and Color. Explore how those attributes indicate fire size, fire location and predict fire behavior. Read Smoke to improve strategic and tactical decision making."
